Based on long membership on this list (I was among the very first subscribers...not that that means anything special, other than I've read a hell of a lot of posts..<g> ), it seems to me Dale's general statement about what's on- and what's off-topic has been focused pretty well by the list-members themselves: if it's steel, and it's lugged, and it shows a certain distinct style (more traditional style is nearer the bull.s-eye, less traditional style is further away from the bull's-eye), then it belongs here.

If that's a problem, why, by all means, go find yourself another list. I'm good with that definition of KOF, and I agree with someone else who posted here to the effect that too-narrow definitions of what is and is not allowed here don't serve anyone very well.

I'm still thinking C-Record should be on-topic, but I understand the Dale's aversion to the stuff.

Must be the heat of August keeping us all a little restless?
