Dear Bob and Doug, Many thanks for replying. Regarding Rattray's I am not surprised this class maker had them made. I started cycling in 1959 and Rattray's along with Langsett were highly regarded down South with the clubs I knew. This is because they were both well estabilshed quality makers who kept pace with the times and modern innovations much the same as Carpenter. Trendy I suppose and not fuddy duddy like Evans or Russ back then. Doug mentioned Dave Moulton having Fuso badges made. Didn't Dave Moulton learn at the hand of Albert (pop) Hodge the maker of Hodge & Holly Cycles? Pop made for all of the cracks of the past Dave Marsh, Maurice Selbach, Leon Meridith etc. I know there are supposed to be Hodge and Holly cycle lapel badges made in the wake of Leon Meredith and Dave Marsh World Championship victories. I have never seen one. Perhaps this is what gave Selbach and Butler the idea for lapel badges as they are both have supposed to have learnt their trade with Pop Hodges.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
