Subject: [CR]Colnago model identifcation and value.

I have recently acquired an NOS (but very filthy) Colnago. Everything is pantographed except the Campy small flange hubs and derailleurs, and the Super Record rear derailleur is stamped "Pat 81". Front derailleur is the type that bolts to a brazed on bracket. It has candy apple blue paint sprayed over chrome, with the fork, stays and head lugs sprayed a translucent gold. I though it was gold plated at first. The forks have "CX" embossed on the sides of a sloping crown..Main tubes are "dimpled". Except for the Columbus tubing decal, all graphics are the mylar adhesive type. I have checked the eBay listing and not found one like it, also have sent a photograph to a couple of KOF's and they were unable to identify it. If there are any Colnago experts out there who are willing to try, I will send a photograph of the frame off list as a visual aid. It's my first Colnago and although previously not a fan, now that I actually own one I've become aware of how special they are. At this point, I have still not decided to ride it or keep it NOS. Perhaps knowing the model and approximate worth will influence my decision.

Thanks in advance,
