Howdy folks.
I bought the early road Silk Hope that Dale listed. I am going to need some list assistance in figuring out what components are ballpark correct. I was riding a red AMF Roadmaster banana seat bike when this beauty was made :^) Anyway, I was also considering the light blue McLean that Tom Sanders restored. It is about a 55cm (53 C-C seat tube, 55cm top tube). It was redone by Matt Assenmacher with correct Dale-supplied decals. It has Mafac cantis that were new when they went on (levers and full hoods as well), Nitto bar/stem, Suntour barcons and Campy headset. Lou Deeter bought it from Tom and it is on the market now, $1025 shipped (I think). That is all I know about it but I thought there might be some interest stirred up in the last week or so.
