About the Austrian department store lunch counter flat-plate special: I have a never been ridden, 1970 Steyr Puch 'Clubman' with that plate attached to Dia-Comps, along with Simplex gearing, Normandy hubs, Atom cranks, Selle San Marco saddle, etc. I recently took it out of its original crate and wrapping paper to hang on a rack with my OTs. Although its kind of a mundane bike, it has great "you're kidding?!" conversational value as being truly NOS.
