Kevin Kruger Asked What size thread...
> Subject: [CR]Shortening Silca Pump

Kevin, The thread size is 22mm. X 1. This is the same size as the threads on a Campagnolo crank extractor. Years ago I ground one of my extractors as a tap to use for threading silca pumps and it worked great. As an added bonus I found I could use it to fix, (chase), damaged threads in NR-SR crank arms. Some had bad threads from cross threading, or partly stripped from someone not threading their extractor in far enough then "pulling" some of the threads out.I saved quite a few with this tool!!! You might find a 22X1 at an industrial supply store. I hope this helps! Peter Weigle Lyme Ct.
