Subject: [CR]Sun Manxman

Who out there is big on Sun Manxmans? Or perchance has a mid 1950s catalogue? I'd be interested in knowing what the spec components would be for one. What I have is kinda basic:

Frame: Reynolds 531 db Fork: Reynolds ? Derailleur: Cyclo-Benelux 4 or 8-speed Rims: Dunlop HP 27" Hubs: ? Stem & Bars: ? some Sun brochures show a distinctive stem with a protrusion behind the stem. Was this a special Sun model? Crankset: ? Pedals: ? Bottom bracket/headset: ? Brakes: GB Coureur with hooded levers Seat pin: ? Saddle: Brooks B-17N

And what distinguishes a Manxman and a Manxman TT?? "Cycling" lists Manxmans (not specifying TT or otherwise) coming in two choices of frame angles: 73/71 or 72/70 and this was in Nov. 54. Did all Manxmans have that unique "strut" between chainstay and seat tube?

Finally when were Manxmans manufactured?? Is there a way to date one by serial number?

I've run out of question marks here, so will stop. Thanks for any and all answers to them.
