-i have a set of old phillips coaster brake hubs on some 26" in rims. i used those, and they fit fine after a bit of spacer adjustment for the rear wheel.

-the bottom bracket was dirty, but still functioning. i adjusted the cups a bit, and then used an old nervar cottered crank set. after i rode it around for an hour, i took it home and dismantled everything to clean it. the bb bearings were all corroded and pitted, so when i put the bb back in i left the bearings out. also, i only screwed the cups in about 2 threads, so the spindle is just kind of "hanging out" between them. i probably should've tightened them before i snapped the photo.

-the steerer is bent, but i didn't think the fork blades are. i will check again, but when i initially checked the frame out i noticed the steerer and then checked the forks, they looked (to my novice eye) straight.
