While that fork is not common, it was not without precedent in Southern California, John's in Pasadena and perhaps Mulroney's (sp) in Orange County both ordered them that way. A very criterium thing to do.

If it belonged to one of the Campbell's (Gary or Buddy) could be, but not ridden in World competition, they were trackies, and short track speedskaters. They were not that tall, its been a long time. Don't remember who was on the '75 Worlds Team, the spots were hard fought over and then there was politics...It once was you won the Nationals and rode the World's, that started to change in the 70's.
