In the Used Bike Buyers Guide, Canopus is listed as Colombia. I also show a Duarte bike from Colombia. I seem to recall seeing a Pertosa or one with a similar spelling also from Columbia, but for some reason I didn't list it in the guide. Other South American bikes were the Caloi from Brazil (ridden by Motorola?), Grandeur from Argentina, H.France from Argentina, Ramon Otero from Argentina (worked at Paris-Sport), Francisco Cuevas lived for awhile in Argentina but I don't know what the name of the bikes would be that he built there. If someone has others, I'll add them to the guide. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL

Anyone heard of this bike from Brasil or Colombia? Columbus tubing, Columbus dropouts. That's all I know about it.

Are there any other south american frame builders that would be of interest to the CR listers?
