Hi all, if anyone could help me figure out the combination of Columbus decals on my Merckx
I'd appreciate it. I have an early eighties Eddy Merckx with a red Columbus SLX seat-tube decal,
and smaller blue Columbus decals on both sides of the fork. I believe the fork to be original
to the frame but I can't be sure. I don't have any photos to post right now but I can e-mail if it
would help. My question is- To anyones knowledge, is a combination of Columbus decals like
that common/uncommon? I'm pretty sure its an '83, it has the older Merckx down-tube decals
(underlining Y and M), but the SLX decal, a sloping fork crown, and a modern style brake bridge
make me wonder. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
