"Beryl winning the national championship in 1976. In winning the 1980 BBAR with an average speed of 25.733 miles an hour, she did the 25 mile in 54 minutes 54 seconds, the 50 mile in 1 hour 55 minutes and 38 seconds, the 100 mile in 4 hours, 10 minutes and 42 seconds. All three time trials were during the last week in August."
