Would the binder bolt be the same as yours George? My 1971 Pro has an Engli sh rather than a metric allen bolt which threads into a nut which is interg rated into the seat lug. Who knows it could be a whitworth fastener. --Here are photos for those who are interested. Brian Blum in Berkeley

RESPONSE TO EMAIL BELOW Season's Greetings list members,

Perhaps someone can make my Holiday brighter. I am in need of a seat binder bolt for a 1972 Raleigh Pro. The images on the links don't show the seat binder area well but it's the best I can find right now. Specifically look at the 1970/71 and 1972 Pro's on the second link. According to my calipers, I should be looking for an Allen-head bolt about 24 mm long. The non-threaded head should have a diameter of 9.25 mm and length of 6.45 mm. The major diameter of the threaded portion is 5.8 mm and seems to have the same threads as the 8 mm Campy seat binder bolt. I've got a lot of stuff to trade or am willing to buy outright. Thanks in advance and may your Holidays be full of peace and cheer.
