Subject: [CR]Outing of a buyer on Ebay.. Beware !!

I usually would not choose to out another member of the cycling and Ebay community, but there is a buyer on Ebay who list member Paul Brodeck called me about, as Paul had noticed I had left a negative feedback on this buyer months ago. His I.D. on Ebay is "ellie1ca". This buyer had bid on one of my auctions and kept on promising to pay numerous times, but failed to after more than a few weeks of re-invoicing and email communications. In seven years on Ebay, he is the only buyer I can recall leaving poor feedback for.

It seems this same buyer bid on a cycle Paul had sold, and when invoiced he emailed Paul and said he had insufficient funds to pay for the winnings, and to relist the item. Paul emailed this buyer asking him or her to atleast renumerate him for his listing fees. To date Paul has not recieved a response. Paul also put a second bike up for auction and had similar results with the same buyer.

Since then, in a recent auction Paul sold another item to a buyer with the I.D. "superdraken", and upon invoicing he noticed this buyer had the same mailing address as "ellie1ca". We are not sure if this buyer is the same, or if it is a coincidence. Superdraken only has been a member of Ebay for one month with a single purchase, and ellie1ca has only been a member for six months.

When I had poor results with ellie1ca, I did a member search through Ebay, and although this person was listed under the name of Drake in New York for invoicing purposes, the member search came up with very different information for a person who lives in Holland. I now have both of these buyers blocked from bidding on any auction I put on Ebay.
