Phil, Peugeot made a frame called the "Galaxy" ....they were recalled and all destroyed....except for the one I have ;^) I was just now at one of my storage garages and saw it sitting forlornly behind a Rigi, a chrome Atala track bike and a Schwinn Town & Country triple tandem. I plan to put up a frame only display of the Galaxy, a Teledyne Titan, a Viscount Aerospace Pro and a Graftek....Alu, Ti, Co-Mo and Carbon Fibre from the classic era....all infants then with teething problems.
I even unearthed the circa 1959 Jack Taylor you sold me eons ago. I'm just a few months from moving back into what will be a year long demolition then rebuilding of my house.... I more than doubled my garage space of the old house but the 2.5 car garage isn't nearly enough. I currently have 970 sq ft of bicycle storage... Needless to say I have some work ahead of me. I red tagged the first 20 bicycles to go....like a ranger in the deep forest stoically picking the trees that must fall.
I hope your health continues to improve. Cheers, Matt

I have a bike that what looks like to me as a vitus aluminum frame (Frame tubes anodized brown) lugs silver. It has all Shimano R-100 parts (off topic?) Who else made all aluminum frames other than Motobecane and Vitus. The bike has no markings on it other than a Shimano equipped decals.
