Subject: [CR]Dealing with an Ebay buyer from Germany

Wonder if Toni or other CR members in Germany can help out with this one. I sold a Dura Ace AX front derailleur to a buyer in Germany and in three weeks or more he has failed to pay for the item. Unfortunately he either didn't read the terms of my auction which clearly states methods of payment or ignored them. He wrote to me seven days after I invoiced, that he was apologizing for not paying, as he was on vacation. That was acceptable, but for two weeks now, he writes every few days wondering how to pay, as apparently where he is in Germany the banks do not know what a bank check, international money order or money order are. At this point I've advised him to open up a free Paypal Account. Is there truth to what this fellow is saying, as I find it hard to believe that in Germany he cannot find a proper form of payment at a bank. He is apparently a reliable buyer, as over about 8 years on Ebay, he shows over 300 purchases or sales with only three negatives. I'm not sure what to advise the buyer.
