I was looking at this at-auction bicycle on which Kevin pointed out the brake clamps on (Modolo) and noticed the Spectrum paint reference, then I looked at the photos and realized these are the people who were quoted as saying they put powder coating on as thin as wet paint. May not be fair (I have seen some very nice powder) but look at that coating, whatever it is.. Folks, that's THICK!

Of course wet paint can look just as jello-y. It's all in the Hands-of-the-man (or Woman.. Hi Ruth!)

Charlie,,,,,I think I can spot a "W" atop the cable clamps. Don't recall ever handling any of these cool clamps!!! Will have to get out the drill to modify some Campys to make up for the extra Holiday cookie weight.
