Saw a nice track bike outside our downtown Los Angeles building today. A messenger bike, somewhat the worse for wear but still serving the user perfectly well.
well-done short-point lugs, fluted seat-stay caps, stamped flat crown; *GanWell* stamped in the stay flutes.
Is this a japanese frame? Looked like maybe...
in any case, pretty bike in an unexpected place
(that said, I did see a completely beat Masi track bike recently, another messenger bike, so, these guys to go hunting for quality, it seems, sometimes, anyway)
