I have to clear some stuff to make room for more stuff, so starting off with an ebay listing for a sturdy lil early 80's Gitane "Criterium", Super Vitus 983 Special Double Butted frame with Super Vitus 980 Fork Blades. Vitus forged dropouts and forkends, 55cm center-to-center. Threaded rear dropout with derailleur stop/notch, uses 26.4mm seatpost and 22mm stem. These are really nice frames from the period when Hinault and LeMond rode Gitanes, I have an 83 that is a Tour de France model and apart from size (I ride a 61cm usually) there aren't any real differences between the two at all. Ideal fixie frame. Strong patina with scratches and chips here and there, but if you're into polishing and spraying a bit of clear, the primary blue color is perfect for that. If it were my size that's what I'd do and use it as a rider! Sound, straight, and as always for all you CR buyers, definitely "on-topic"! Here's the link to the e-bay stuff:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

I've also listed some NOS white Hunt-Wilde handlebar tape and NOS Ambrosio handlebars in both 41 and 43 cm widths. If a CR member is actually not into the e-bay scene (!!!?!!!) but have some interest in my meager fare, drop me a note and we'll see what we can do!

Coming soon, (and yes, I'd prefer to sell to listers direct rather than use e-bay), an 1971 Atala 20 1/2" frame and fork, early 70's 21 1/2" Gitane Tour de France, a nicely-refinished early 70's 20 1/2" Zeus frame and fork, I am clearing the petite framesets first as I need to get "her" onto a mixte (she refuses to ride a standard diamond frameset.)

Thanks !
