The Classic Rendezvous Vintage Bicycle Award nominations are now closed. There is a great pool of candidates from which the soon-to-be-chosen selection committee will pick a 2006 winner.
The selection committee is chosen by Dale from the CR membership, but they can't be nominees, (naturally), and they can't be nominators. So, every year there is an exceptional group of CR members who both don't win the CRVBA award, and don't serve on the selection committee. This is somewhat unfortunate, but Lou, Dale and I feel that this ensures the most deserving person wins the award.
