Was it Moser (and his team) who was riding Benotto in the classic film "A Sunday in Hell" about the 1976 Paris-Roubaix? The film opens with a team mechanic cleaning the chain and cranks on a Benotto in preparation for the race. Odd thing about this film, it is sold today as "featuring" Eddy Merckx, but Eddy actually missed the winning break and finished fourth or fifth.

Well, I have a turn for Benotto bikes.

I have overhauled, and later extensively borrowed, one Benotto bike that was Francesco Moser's when he rode for Filotex in the very early 70's. Later that bike was sold to a somebody else here in Pisa. Try to google out Moser and you'll see Benottos. The Torino based Benotto firm is not in business any longer.and I bet you would have a hard time finding decals.

Personally, I love Benottos. That Moser's bike was a jewel to ride, though way too large for me. I have a TT Benotto that I ride with great pleasure on any terrain, also uphill since I seldom stand on pedals; in fact, I rode it this very afternoon up (I'll send photos to Brian, in private). I also have another TT Benotto frameset that I have had re-painted, but this is no proper place to put an ad ... .
