Brian, Sounds like you have had some excellent advice on the Benotto from the list already. I would just like to add that here in the UK they only imported top end frames and bikes, occasionally you would see their lower end stuff but there was no market for it here only the thoroughbreds. Sure Phil Edwards had something to do with teir import here. Phil was a Bristol lad with I think an Italian Mum, he became Francesco Moser's right hand man (domestique) from about 1975 onwards. Moser and Edwards rode for Sanson who I think were Italian ice cream makers. They rode Benotto frames with Campagnolo equipment. Team members I can remember plus the above were: Claudio Bortolotto, Sigfrido Fontanelli, Renato Marchetti, Roberto Poggiali, Ole Ritter, Luciano Rossignoli, Mauro Simonetti, Roberto Sorlini, Mario Beccia, Josef Fuchs and Ronnie De Witte. have forgotten the rest. Sounds like you migth have a 78 trade team bike.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
