Fred,

All I know is what I see on the Forest City website, it looks like it's inside where the rink used to be, and it looks pretty permanent to me, or as permanent as a wooden track can be becuase any wooden track can be dismantled - right?

I have heard that the racing is very competitive and well attended by riders, but that spectator support is poor, I'm as much to blame as anyone, I have never driven the 200 miles round trip to London to watch the racing, I suppose that if support does not improve, then the track will disappear, just like so many others.

Brian,
Is the track literally inside a rink or inside a building that formerly housed a hockey rink? After all, isn't this a permanent velodrome?
     Cheers,
