I'm not sure about the color being "rootbeer". I have a 77/78 Super Course that seems to be the same color as the International color "Copper" in the '74 catalog (and other years.)

Also are there letters in front of that serial number? Jeff, I have a picture of my Super Course I can email you that shows what color it was before I painted it red. (everyone needs a red bike, right?)
