P.S.: The derailleur articles in VBQ are not intended to duplicate Frank Berto's work, as published in the Dancing Chain. They complement it, because Frank never had the opportunity to ride the older derailleurs... The articles were written in collaboration with Frank to provide some real-world experience with some of the most important derailleurs. The history goes into more detail and fixes some minor errors in the Dancing Chain, such as the introduction date of the Campagnolo Super Record.

Frank Berto has been a frequent contributor to VBQ, and I value his friendship.
