Mike, They were pretty much junk, and quite fragile. So unless you have real beauty on your hands, that is worth keeping all original, you would be better off replacing the shifters with a simple friction shifter for the left and a standard 3 speed trigger for the right. A friend uses a DT friction shifter on the TT with a spacer, somewhat evoking the old Quadrant shifters. Most people use a thumb shifter on the bars.
