That's a bummer to hear too, for those awaiting delivery, and unable to get a response from him. Mike spent a lot of time and did seemingly beautiful artwork for Italvega decals, of which I've ordered and paid for three sets. They are indeed past due, and likewise, he is not replying to my emails (yet ... I have faith). It is understandable to lose a contractor and be in a pinch ... and buyers informed of this (not under steep time constraints) will usually relax and be willing to wait. I'm happy to wait as long as it takes, just as long as I know something is happening. But I'm definitely not feeling too good about being locked out of communication from someone so far away. Mike really seems like a nice guy over the phone, so I hope he soon gets over the "oh man, what are they gonna say when I tell them" fear, informing us all that it's gonna be a while, and then finds another printer.

On that note, does anyone know of a good printer in their area that Mike might be able to work with? He uses a thin vinyl that is able to be clearcoated. Can this type of thing be done between him and a printer, long distance?

I've had some minimal contact with Mike. Last I heard, he was rather bummed as his former printer decided not to continue to run the small jobs he sent them, and he has been unsuccessfully attempting to locate another printer. He'd like to acquire his own printer, but unfortunately, that's beyond his means. I think it's going to take either a stroke of luck, or an heroic effort to get him back in the saddle.
