Maybe I should have qualified the particulars of this frame a little. This is something that started quite some time ago, and was somewhat of an "art" exercise, if you want to call it that. I think that there's a place for that too. It's being made with old frame parts that I had accumulated many years ago, and I talked Dave into doing something he probably wouldn't have normally done. Not that I dictated what the frame should look like. Rather, I left Dave to play and experiment. Dave recently asked me to explain to people who saw this frame that this is not what he's really about with regard to frames and frame building. He is back in the market, but will likely not be doing anything even remotely like this. I'm sure when the time is right Dave will explain where he's coming from.

I still think this is an interesting project, and will be a fun thing to build-up and play with. I will definitely be riding it. It is a user, which sort of adds to the unique, abstract character of it. Unfortunately, I've just learned that the frame may not make it in time (delivery appears to be scheduled for Monday). I'm trying to see what I can do to expedite it, but that may not be possible now that it is in route.
