I'm not the buyer of the e-bay bike, but wish I'd seen a picture of it. I bought a 50's Pat Skeates bike/frame in England in the mid-70's & still have it. Not sure how much was original when I got it, but not all, I'm sure. Even less now, since it's been in constant use since then.
I recently talked to Mike Barry about the possibility of re-painting, but so far I've struck out with finding transfers. (Couldn't get them from Lloyds.) I'd be eternally grateful if you could pass on some contact information on transfers. The frame looks pretty naked now, & has been waiting a long time for a little dignity.
