Hi David My '74 Colnago came with Nisi tubulars and low flange Campy Record hubs with locknut date codes of 1974. Quickie snapped pictures can be seen here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Marks_Colnago_Bikes

The bike, pretty much as received it is shown in the album on the upper left. The almost completed "gone through it" project is shown in the album in the lower left. Click on thumbs to see pics, then click on the pics to see the larger, clearer views.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the group, and I'm starting the daunting task (for me) of restoring/building-up a 1974 Colnago Super frame that I acquired at this year's Cirque. Odd as it may seem, I was fortunate enough to "test ride" the same year bike at Saturday's ride thanks to the kindness of a fellow enthusiast (Doug from Alabama). Moreover, I had the opportunity to take lots of detailed pictures after the event of his wonderful green Colnago, which I hope will guide me in choosing the right vintage parts. In addition, I'd like to thank all the people I met at the Cirque who gave me their advice on how to best tackle the project. A special thanks goes to Brian Baylis, who was more than happy to drop everything for a complete stranger to come evaluate the Colnago frame that was for sale. I have to admit that I have really enjoyed looking at all the older bikes at the three Cirques that I have attended so far, but it is the people that I meet there that keeps me coming back. Last of all, I'd like to ask the experts out there about what Nisi rims would be right/period specific for this project.
