Hello all, My newly found Motobecane Grand Touring has a Vitus tubing decal in such disrepair that I could barely recognize it. I can see the tricolor 888 part where each 8 is a different color, blue, white, or red. The only copy I have been able to find is included and is a picture from a bike, not suitable for reproduction. The other 888 decal (taken from this site) is very different from mine, as you can see. The 8's are all white and the print is different as well.
Does anyone know the reason for the two very different decals? What does it all mean!! I have already reproduced the other decals and had them printed successfully. They came out great too. I would like to find a copy of the tubing decal as well, but so far I don't have a picture suitable for transfering. I have a notice on ebay however and hope something will turn up while I restore the bike.
