Subject: [CR]Pittsburgh swap report

While searching for bicycle porn on the internet earlier in the week, I ran across the mention of bicycle swap meet in Pittsburgh today, held at the Andy Warhol Museum parking lot and allowing reduced admission to the museum.

The swap meet was mainly mountain bike stuff, with some pretty interesting messenger bikes, or at least what appeared to be messenger bikes. One in particular, a CCM track bike with all BSA stuff and wooden tubular rims was pretty cool (not for sale), someone was selling a Charles Roberts fillet brazed bike, a few vintage tidbits including a set of 40/32 Arilite track hubs. This being the first, and I hope it can become an annual event, was, if nothing else, worth the trip because I did take a spin (not on a bike) through the Warhol Museum, a place I hadn't been to in years, and the weather was spectacular.

This now is the second consecutive swap that I have attended without purchasing anything.

Cheers.
