Subject: [CR]prodigal Jack Taylor returns

Today a mint condition JT tandem rolled in the door and I bought it. Not only is it in the same series as the NOS ones I bought last fall, I actually sold this one brand new in 1983 when I was at Northwest Cycle. It is only two numbers away from my curved tube. This one is #8041, 24/22 in white with red Gothic decals and box lining. It came with front and rear Taylor racks plus some special lowriders that they only made for me, and a Taylor rear stem. Has Sunshine sealed 48 spoke hubs, Super Champion rims 700c, Sugino AT cranks, suntour derailleurs, Campy dt shifters, an Arai drum brake, Shimano Cantis, Mafac double levers, Avocet seats, Specialized wide rear bar and Cinelli front bar and stem, and the one of the good French headsets that actually work. No pedals. Probably was ridden 100 miles and then stored. A couple minor paint dings that I will touch up. Near perfect decals. I will clean it up a bit and ask $2500 for it if you know anyone interested in it. Will be a bitch to box it but I will for a price if someone out of town buys it. Pics soon.
