I think looks like a cool bike and has some notable features, including what is apparently a drillium steerer tube a la Pino Morroni!

The frame itself is also very light although I don't have the proper tools to properly remove the Pino BB to weigh the frame by itself. The frame/fork/headset/BB is around 7 ounces lighter than my similarly-setup Carlsbad Masi Pista (which is a good couple of centimeters smaller in size than the Merckx).

Speaking of size, the frame measures to be oh... about 57.5cm for the top tube ctc, and 60cm for the seat tube ctt. Coincidently, a certain famous rider is known to ride track bikes of such size... ;-) http://www.colnagonews.com/prova2/storia/geometrie/cartelle/17-eddyrecordora.jpg
