Hi all, With Dale's kind permission, I am listing one of several bikes for sale belonging to an old friend who's health has failed him. This is a Rivendell Heron, 60c, c-c seat tube, 59c top. It's Reynolds 531, round fork blades, all eyelets and tire clearance expected in a Riv product. The bike is a deep teal blue with yellow lug lining (not sure if that was a Riv thing or a done-by-owner thing). It's equipped with OT parts of Riv's suggestions including Nitto bar/stem, bar end shifters and Stronglight triple crank. It's missing wheels, chain and rear derailleur, but will come with the Riv Speedblend tires. Ask me offlist for options of components, please. gear@xmission.com Dale asked that I not go into too much detail with the OT parts, so that's enough to get the juices flowing for those who perked up at the bike in the first place. And I'm happy to take some photos for whomever requests them. As many as needed. There's not much to go on for value/price, and since the dough is going to medical bills, I'm going high at $1500 as it's described here.
