Mark, Perhaps you have some experience with older Phil Wood stuff too? The old mounting bolts for track and tandem wheels have the same diabolical situation - i.e. instead of an 8mm hex key, they used 5/16". A sloppily made 8mm tool will work but if you have something nice like a Snap-On tool, it just won't fit. Usually, you learn this the hardway. E.g. at home, you borrowed a friend's cheaper 8mm tool and it worked, so you brought your good one along on a ride. But when your tire punctured and you tried your tool, it was "no go", a long walk home and a lesson learned... Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
