A question for the lucky/fortunate ones who have had a chance to participate in L'eroica, what sort of gearing (in inches) are participants using? For various historic set-ups, fixed, single, double through 5 speed freewheel etc?
I had a thought today that it would be fun to run it on my "Commonwealth Bike" a CCM Flyer with Sturmey Archer AM hub and Philco brakes. Maybe wearing a Maple Leaf wool jersey like Torchy Peden used to wear!
