Subject: [CR]Was: Raleigh Team Pro 753, now: Gazelle Champion Mondial 753

I've been reading the discussion about the 753 Team Pro with interest; I recently acquired a Gazelle Champion Mondial 753, and this brings some questions. Hopefully some of you can answer these questions. The Gazelle in question is most probably from 1979, maybe 1980. I've come to this conclusion because of the patent 78 Super Record rear derailleur, and the frame number. So, now my questions. 1. I called a friend who I remembered possessed one or two Gazelle 753's, to find out more. His 753 frame has a number that begins with 'SB', like the Ilkeston Raleighs. Is it possible that Raleigh built the first 753 Gazelle's? They did belong to the same company at the time, TI Raleigh. Mine has a normal Gazelle framenumber BTW, and fortunately '753' stamped into the bb shell, so no doubts there! 2. My Gazelle has a 27.0 mm seatpost; correct or not??
