I think it is quite possible that Raleigh made some 753 frames for Gazelle - have you any pics? And what is the number? A picture of the underside of the bottom bracket I think would determine this for certain.

A 27.0mm seatpin is quite possible for a metric tubed 753 frame - which would probably be pre 1981...
