Sometime I think it is takes one who has owned his own

business to understand that what the market will bear is what the price should

be.

If your not one of the big dogs get off the porch and don,t bid.

As

for E-Ritchie's frame. Go get em' Ritchie and make as much MONEY as

you ca n. Isn't that what a free market is all about.

As for below

great com ments Tom and David. David I'm sure all the E-Sniper are already

tuned in!

Dan,=0 AThis

bike is a legend...it has been featured on many many websites

and articles. It

has been meticulously restored to as new perfection by the guy who

is pro bably the World's most respected bike builder. He has been

a mechanic on many highly ranked racing teams and has sponsored World

Champion Cyclocr oss racing teams for years. His credentials are as impeccable

as anyone

in the world today as far as bicycles are concerned. He is also

highly t rusted, liked and respected just because of the many positive

aspects of

his own personality, even without all this. His generosity is also

very

well known. I have talked to numerous folks who have seen this bike

and

its sister bike, both of which Richard owns. Read the bidding

history and you will see some of the very top and most knowledgeable collectors

in t he field. Perhaps you see some flaw in the bike, but this would

seem to

be an observation that these folks either do not see or hold to be

insign ificant. Might I suggest that perhaps you might not be really up on

what

the top tier of bikes like this are likely to fetch? I am sure I

have pa id more than the current $3,000 bid for lesser bikes and been darned

glad to get them. Perhaps more temperate phrases than "Overpriced" would

be a ppropriate when discussing such an item? Tom Sanders Lansing ,

And the real bidders won't even show up to

the e nd! What it is going for now has no relation in most cases to what

it wi ll actually fetch
