I found a similar kinda crack (but different) in a Campy left crank,

It was on a bike I got on eBay, and the auction description specifically said he'd gone over every inch of the cranks with a jeweler's loupe and promised there were no cracks! (I got a nice partial refund based on these photos, no problem.)
