Subject: [CR]Mt. Ventoux ride for the riders who like to be challened

>From Freeman of Davidson cycles Seattle ''Thought you might like to see my friend Bob Berg's photos of riding up Mt Ventoux last month. Sadly, his Davidson went astray on the way there, and he had to rent a French bike. He has since gotten his bike back. Bob is 63 by the way. His goal was to ride up Ventoux all four ways in one day. He did 3 of them. only some 1800 people have done that. The fourth was a variation of one of them that included some gravel and steep. Each was

about 13 miles at an average grade of 7.5%. That's over 5000 feet each time up. Not bad for an old guy. I hope to do that sometime. At least one time up that is.
