The lugs shown on that 3Rensho auction look like the Long Shen long-point lugs that 3Rensho was known for using in their earlier days, but with brazed-on "fins" -- the Reminton bladed lugs are actually a standard Long Shen 300R lugset (still in production!) The pictured frame is a bit odd -- it looks like an early-model Super Record Aero, as the seatstay shape and fastback seat cluster are indicative of that model. Use of the long point lugs makes it an earlier frame though -- later SRAs had Yoshi Konno's ThreePoint lugs.

one thing you could look for is the 3rensho "super ends", the socketed

My work is going slowly, but I've got a bunch of notes put together. Hopefully I can finally get it done! Agreed on the photos as well -- I'd love to see pictures of the bike, especially if you think it has 3Rensho provenance.
