The 1965 Supercorsa cost: $231.75. This one had most of the options below. It was delivered to the student dorm...

In 1969, a different SC cost $269.01, with the TA triple and Alpine gears.

The 1968/1969 price list from Cupertino quotes:

Cinelli S.C. with TA double chainwheels, Campagnolo Nuovo Record derailleurs, Record small flange hubs with Fiamme Red Label rims, Clement silk tubulars, Campagnolo seapost, Unicanitor or Brooks Prof. saddle, Universal centerpull brakes, "latest Cinelli dural" bars and stem, even bottle, cage, patch kit, pressure gauge and small tool kit: $ 253.75

Extras: Record large-flange hubs: $ 2.50 Mavic, AVA or Super Champion rims: $ 3.00 Campagnolo Special Record chainset: $ 11.00 Tied and soldered spokes: $ 3.00 TA triple chainset (instead of double): $ 4.50 Alpine modification of rear derailleur: $ 7.50 Mafac Racer brakes: $ 2.50 Weinmann quick release levers: $ 2.50 Handlebar gear controls (bar-end shifters): $ 6.50 Cinelli interchangeable hubs: $ 12.50 Constrictor ASP rims and Dunlop RR 27 x 1 1/4 hp tires: $ 3.50 Brooks B17 saddle reshaped and softened by "Ottusi": $ 4.00 TTT Grand Prix bars: 75 c All chrome-plated finish: $ 12.00 Forks & stays 1/4 or more chromed: $ 7.00 Regina Oro freewheel: $ 2.00 Cyclopans freewheel: $ 7.00

The Cinelli track bike cost $ 205.00

I was surprised how expensive the bar-end shifters were, and how cheap the Bivalent hubs and fully chrome-plated finish were.

The price list doesn't quote it, but the invoice for the 1969 bike shows Mephisto rims and Wolber 700C tires on this touring setup.

How much did people make in 1965-1974?
