If we assume that wages in general have increased by about a factor of 6-8 (would the journeyman parts man today make $ 40-52?), then the bikes weren't very expensive. The Cinelli Supercorsa comes to about $ 1500-2000, the Bianchi Team about $ 1200-1600.
