I ran into Grant last month. He was at the Beserkley Parade with a Louisan Bobet. I told him that Mercier made them he seemed to indicate he did not have much involvement in selling bikes at this time. Brian Blum in Berkeley

Certainly not meaning for anyone to impose on the gent uninvited, of course, but your inquiry brings to mind Grant Handly. A while back he had moved, and I don't know if he currently has anything vaguely resembling a bike shop these days. Does anyone now what he may be busying himself with of late? There was a time when he probably had more R.Herse bikes than all the rest of North America, combined. Many of these are now in Japan.
