WTB 50's Magistroni Senior or Gnutti crankset/chainset in VGC
Subject says it all. This is to complete the restoration of my 1952 Gillott Connoisseur. I think a Duprat hollow arm crankset would also be apropriate.
I would consider a crankset that would need replating so long as there was no serious pitting.
Apparently the early 50's British riders were all about 'continental' chainsets, - just like Coppi.
I also need (hmmm maybe not need, but desire) a pair of period correct alloy Simplex rings with the 3 to 6 arm adapters.
