Scott Davis has these on auction. No... he's not giving me a commission for this unsolicited plug - they're just Too Kool not to mention.

These would be correct for your 1950s Italian "City" bike, or could even offer a comfy (and correct) ride for your L'Eroica 2007.

A vintage alternative to a 650B wheelset. The pair I have are 37 x 622 mm, [28 x 1-5/8 x 1-3/8] but actually seem bigger / taller than a typical modern 37mm tire. If your biciclette has plenty of clearance for fenders & big tires,... go for it! They really do weigh a ton, but they should also last for many, many thousands of miles.

These are the tires shown on a 1952 Pirelli poster in the book: "100 years of Bicycle Posters" (c.1973, Harper & Row). The caption reads: "il pneumatico per tutti" [The tire for everyone].

Ciao!
