You could also get a Schwinn steel HF single freewheel hub that also came on many cruisers and lightweights in the Schwinn line during the '30's to '50's,. similar to the Paramount hubs but with a fatter barrel. They also made a matching front, so have fun. These are the hubs made famous by having the drum brakes in the same unit, so the customer had a great choice of drum or caliper brakes. Be easy to build up a pair and roll around on any neat old frameset.

One of these hubs, w. FW (I think 1/2") was donated to our local bike-recycling group, in very nice condition. Bikes For the World. If anyone is really interested, I can forward a message to the group's leader, who could sell if for an appropriate donation.
