Thank you to all, especially Dale, BOB, and Jamie for sharing your experiences with the proper axle component settings question. The adjustments required to properly set tolerances for happy bearing operation is one somewhere between science, engineering and art. The dynamics within those four tiny race tracks demands that the servicer be one who can envision the environment where two teams of balls that are shoulder-to-shoulder and racing at high speed between two race track pairs without bumping heads, or stepping on toes. With this vision in mind, it is easy to see how important a fair and level playing field must be had. Just to help keep the peace is good ol Speziali grease as referee.

Now, regarding "torque" at Vincenze; catalog #18 , page 5 photo dues show an aparatus that is used to install chain ring bolts. Wow, that looks like fun, but for how long. Having a standard requires machines that don't eventually stare off into space as the technican may be. There for, a dialed-in TORQUE must be regulating the pneumatic allen driver. None-the less, since we don't ship our Campagnolo to Italy for tightening, it is assumed that if one has graduated to Camganolo, that they had very well have had a lot of experience at the mechanicing side of things with pleanty of experience on Rice first.
